Overcome the Hate

I have two little sisters, Morgan and Pacey, they are in 7th grade and are both 12 years old. I love them more then anything. Since the beginning of the school year this year they have been being bullied by someone they use to call their best friend. They never did anything to this girl or her friends. They just all started bullying and harassing my sisters. The school they go to says that they have a zero tolerance for bullying within the student body in their school. They went to the office and told them, they said they would call this girl and her friends down to the office and talk to them all together. They didn’t. Then came the messages on facebook and through text message. First they were just little things that everyone goes through, then it became threatening to the point they didn’t want to go to school. They were afraid. This girl was telling everyone that my sisters were “Lesbians together” I printed out all these messages, the girl bullying them is the one that started messaging them first, and I brought them to the school. They said they would do something about it. About a month ago I found out they never did anything at all. By this point there were more messages then before, and they were worse. So I went to the school again. They did something this time, they just sat these girls down with their parents and talked about it. Their parents knew they were threatening my sisters! They didn’t do anything about it, so it continued. I went to the school for the third time a couple weeks ago. This time I made sure the school police officer was there too. They said there was nothing more they can do about it, because it isn’t physical bullying. I said to them “What if it becomes physical. To a point were it’s to late to stop it. These girls are sending threat after threat. I don’t think they are joking around anymore. This is considered cyber bullying. Which in most of the states is Illegal! So you can not tell me that there is nothing you can do!” I then printed out the laws against cyber bullying and bullying in Illinois and left it in the office for them to see. It’s continuing to get worse. My sister Morgan is a very emotional person, she was talking about how she wants out of here and wants to die. I can’t take this. I wrote a 10 page paper I plan on giving to the school along with an anti-bullying petition. My goal is to get at least 200 people between tumblr, family, friends, and people at school (i.e. teachers and other students.)
